Engineered stone honeycomb panels
Engineered stone honeycomb panel is an innovative, high-performance composite material. They seamlessly combine two distinct materials through a unique honeycomb structure. Engineered honeycomb panels are made from 3-5mm thick quartz panel and aluminum honeycomb panel , bonded together using specialized adhesive.

Aluminum honeycomb panel typically ranges from 10-25mm thick, and the overall thickness can be customized depending on the application.
| Comparison Summary with Traditional Quartz Slabs | ||
| Test Item | Quartz Honeycomb Panels | Traditional Quartz Slabs (15-20mm) |
| Weight | Extremely light (~20 kg/m²) | heavy (~60 kg/m²) |
| Impact resistance | High, not prone to overall breakage | low, prone to overall cracking |
| Installation | Easy, can be hung dry, short construction time | Complex, requires heavy support, long construction time |
| Deformation risk | Low, high rigidity | Some risk, especially with large panels |
| Thermal and sound insulation | Excellent | Poor |
| Overall cost | Slightly higher material cost | Clear material cost |
| Material utilization | High,resource conservation | Lower |

Features
Extremely lightweight,
Traditional 20mm thick quartz slabs weigh approximately 60 kg per square meter, while a quartz honeycomb panel of the same thickness (e.g., 3mm face material + 17mm core material) weighs only 18-22 kg per square meter.
Ultra-high strength and rigidity
The honeycomb structure is one of the most stable and efficient mechanical structures in nature, evenly distributing impact forces on its surface. Its flexural strength (typically ≥25 MPa) and rigidity far exceed those of ordinary stone of similar thickness, and even surpass many thicker traditional slabs, effectively resisting warping and deformation.
Environmentally Friendly and sustainable
Using only 3-5mm thick quartz stone surfacing material significantly conserves mineral resources. Lightweighting reduces fuel consumption and carbon emissions during transportation.
Application
Engineered stone honeycomb panels can be used for indoor walls & floors, kitchens, bathrooms, tabletops, as well as shopping malls, brand shops, and so on.
